2023 Student Film Festival Celebration

2023 Student Film Festival Screening

2023 EDTV Student Film Festival Screening

2023 Student Film Festival Theme: CROSSROADS

There are moments in our lives that define us. Decisions that have a lasting effect on who we are now and who we’ll be in the future. Paths whose endings may seem obvious at first, but take us to places we could never have imagined. Sometimes we’re aware of our choices’ impacts before we make them, but more often we only come to understand their true meaning once we’re miles down the trail. When we arrive at a crossroads, it’s the direction we choose that makes us who we are.

For the 2023 EDTV Student Film Festival, we want you to consider the Crossroads. Tell us a story of choice: the challenges behind making a decision, the discoveries revealed by it, and the outcomes that stem from it. Big or small, real or imagined, abstract or to the point – we welcome any idea you’d like to share, so long as the theme of Crossroads stands at its center. Pick from our 4 formats – Narrative, Journalism, Photography, and new for this year, Music Video – to bring your story to life, however you see fit. The choice is yours…

Join us for the 2023 EDTV Student Film Festival – we can’t wait to see your submission! From all of us at EDTV, good luck and happy filmmaking!
